After over a year of preparations, Zdeněk Sýkora's gravestone was
installed at Louny Cemetery on 23 December 2014. The architectural design
was created by Zdeněk Ziegler, and Lenka Sýkorová and Vladimír Hubička
contributed to executing the design. Black Zimbabwe granite is decorated
with a motif from Zdeněk Sýkora's Lines. The location was not chosen randomly;
the artist selected the site himself while he was still alive, as the line of his beloved
Bohemian Uplands can be seen from here.
